Lim Young-woong will not release regular 2nd album on CD… The reason
Singer Lim Young-woong will meet his fans in a way that focuses on authenticity and value.
On the morning of the 29th, Lim Young-woong’s official SNS announced information regarding the release of his second full-length album ‘IM HERO 2’, which will be released on August 29.
According to the announcement, instead of a physical album (hereafter “CD album”) for Lim Young-woong’s 2nd album, a package (album book) containing photo shoots will be produced for those who want to own it.
This album book will feature photos of Lim Young-woong related to the 2nd album, album credits, and messages personally delivered by Lim Young-woong, making it a meaningful item as a keepsake and memento.
His agency Fish Music explained, “This decision comes after much discussion and consideration with Lim Young-woong. The agency deeply empathizes with the artist’s heartfelt wishes and stands together with him. Although the format of this commemorative album changes, we hope that the emotions and sincerity within will come across even closer. Please look forward to it.”
Taking into account the practical difficulty of enjoying CD albums, Lim’s hope not to burden fans with excessive support, and environmental concerns, the album book will be sold exclusively through Lim Young-woong’s official ‘I’m Hero Mall’ in a pre-order sale starting July 31 at 2 PM. It will not be counted in official album sales charts.
